I created a motion-activated sound player for Millicent Young’s sculptural installation Remains (sound in Sculpture) at the Kaatsbaan cultural park in Tivoli, New York.
The device is powered by a solar panel and uses 3D-printed parts that were designed in Rhino and Grasshopper. The motion sensor triggers audio of a poem by Jane Hirshfield read by the artist and the sounds of extinct bird calls.
